Sure, but let's not pretend like the Bush years weren't one long Clinton hatefest, followed by an even more ridiculous Obama hatefest. There is nothing in recent years that comes even close for Democrats blaming a Republican president.

Aren't there plenty of Democrats who blame Bush II for some of what went wrong during Obama's presidency?

Oh, I'm sure there are. My point is you're not going to see this kind of spittle-flecked blame on as gigantic of a scale from the Democrat side. As another anon already pointed out above, Republicans blame CLINTON for 9/11, despite the fact that it happened during the Bush presidency. You'll perhaps recall Lewinskygate, where Republicans did a LOLtastic job of pretending that marital infidelity was a hyuuuuuuuuuuuuuge sin worthy of impeachment, all while pretending they weren't also engaged in affairs and cheating on their spouses.

Then they blame Obama for, well, everything. Shit, Palin blamed Obama for her son's domestic violence arrest.

I'll buy that.

My parents are liberal socialists but back during the Bush years they would sometimes watch Fox News for reasons I've never quite understood. But once Obama appeared they couldn't watch anymore because it just got so much more hateful. Now they only occasionally switch over to see what the other side is saying.

I go further and blame Reagan.

I've actually heard some pretty good arguments for doing that.
