Ugh. I hate being on hold. Especially when the phone turns into the hottest thing on Earth as it is stuck to your face. I once fell asleep while on hold with a company. Woke up and they still had not answered.

I have my phone on speaker, forced to listen to this terrible plinky music, and at this rate I feel like I just might fall asleep myself. (Or hang up and call back later. They say they are 24 hours, and I just need them to send me some hardware they failed to send me for my tv service, so its not like the phonecall should take long and isnt worth 45 minutes on hold...)

Why does hold music always sound like it is coming through cans?
