I liked him in Mighty Ducks when I was a kid, so I guess I have a nostalgic fondness for him now. And I actually really love Matt/Foggy fics, I think they have good chemistry.

lol Don't feel too bad. I classify a number of CW actors as "dime store"/"poor man's X" regardless of acting talent. They really just appear similar to another actor, but the network couldn't afford the real deal.

I don't see it... They're pretty different characters. Do you mean in a physical sense? Foggy and Bucky aren't two characters I would typically compare, despite the fact that they both have close friendships with major MCU characters.

However, I love Foggy. Still haven't got around to season 2 of Daredevil (I watched episode 1... And 2, I think?), but Foggy is easily one of my favorite characters in the show, and Daredevil as a whole is one of my favorite Marvel properties. I think Foggy is hilarious and cute and his friendship with Matt is fucking adorable.

I think they're physically similar (long hair, lil scruffy, not a Pretty Boy) and both play the role of best friend/sidekick to the Pretty Boy hero

When you put it like that it makes more sense! (Though I don't think of Foggy as particularly scruffy, and I do think that the similarities are vague, I see what you mean.)

Foggy is a lot less angsty and tragic than Bucky though, thankfully. (I love Bucky, but, you know. Variety is nice, and I like how much humor Foggy brings to the show.)

Okay... I really don't see it. Aside from fandom's OOC bullshit making Bucky Steve's caretaker worrier and Foggy being legit worried about Matt getting himself killed... I guess.

Whatever, I think you've got a pretty basic view of both characters but whatever floats your boat. Fandom's stupid shit probably supports it.
