No, no, I'm not talking about the show (although I'm definitely thinking you could get ideas from this fandom).

But, yeah, there are plenty of kinks that can occur IRL like BDSM and foot fetish stuff, but there are also kinks that can only occur in fiction because they require some sort of magical/supernatural element.

For me, I have to admit that I'm kind of into microphilia where one person somehow gets shrunk down, and they get it on with a normal-sized person. There's definitely a sense of helplessness I enjoy, and the people involved definitely have to be more creative in their sexual activities to get around the size difference.

Also, it's a cliche, but I'm a sucker for sex pollen fics where characters get uncontrollably horny and end up getting it on. I'm into the dubious consent element as well as the complete loss of inhibitions.

What about you guys?

It's not one of mine, but I'm gonna guess soulbonding is going to be one of the popular ones.

It's not really a kink, though, is it?

Sex pollen!!!!!! mostly for the loss of inhibition, that's generally one of my major kink-categories.

also, vampirism probably counts as supernatural? like, there's definitely an appeal to it for me that's specific, and separate from bloodplay generally.

Ooh, yeah, I'm into vampirism too. I go out of my way to look for vampire AUs for my OTPs. I think it's because there's definitely this underlying fear for vampire/human pairs with the vampire having to hold themselves back from killing the human.

Dream sex. As in, two people meeting in a dream world to have sex, particularly if reality gets distinctly fluid for the duration.

Ghost sex/erotic intangibility. The intangible partner getting their lover off through imaginative use of alternate sensations.

Ooh, yeah, ghost sex is a good one. I feel like I've read quite a few ghost AUs, but, unfortunately, they all tend to be 100% angst with no erotic element. :(

Mind sex is one of my favorite kinks. Characters who have a telepathic bond of some sort basically doing phone sex but in their heads. Or even magical characters being able to touch each other mentally.

Yep, that's a big reason why I like soulbonds, because that is usually one of the advantages of them.

I'm a fan of sex-pollen too for pretty much the same reasons, I just like the loss of inhibitions with the dub-con element.

Also magic being used during sexytimes, to like make it feel more intense or as like extra 'hands' or something.

Sex pollen is definitely a trope I heartily enjoy!

Transformation, conjoinment, clonecest, magical healing (for worry-free bloodplay), sex pollen . . . lots of stuff.

I posted about this once, here - I have an annoyingly specific kink for (being the) completely overpowered protector-type and bottoming/service topping for my protectee.

When I say "overpowered" I mean the more overpowered the better. Can break things accidentally if not careful-type stuff.

My OTP is a seriously unhealthy relationship between a physical powerhouse and a small, notedly sickly mage. The unhealthy dynamic is because the mage is extremely emotionally and psychologically abusive, and really hung up on jealousy around the other half of the pair. So... I'm really into him using magic to overpower, restrain, or influence powerhouse character.

+1 I love micro- and macrophilia too! It's so rare though :(
