most trans men I know finding the idea of becoming pregnant to be horrifying and extremely dysphoric, so I'm not sure if that should really be a go-to easy solution here

obviously I can't say that every single trans man ever would agree with this, but there's still a huge difference between writing a fic set in a universe where non-trans dudes can magically get pregnant and everything is all sunshines and rainbows and writing a fic where a trans character becomes pregnant, so I definitely understand why most people choose to write the former option

Oh yeah Im not saying it's go to. Just. Less anatomically perplexing.

My experience is the same as yours, but I know there's one transman who'd prefer that solution. He stopped himself mid-rant though when he wondered if he really wanted it written by a cis-person.

I know at least two trans guy friends of mine who've had children, and are glad they did so. I myself would never in a million years want a child myself, but I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a good writer actually discuss it.

Buuuuut I recognize that mpreg fanfiction is probably NOT the place that would do it decently.
