I think this link explains it pretty well--essentially, the idea is that after Lucius Malfoy fucked up at the end of OotP, Voldemort had Fenrir Greyback bite Draco as punishment. The theory construes all of Draco's weird behavior in HBP as evidence of lycanthropy. IMO, this is one of those really delicious theories that can't possibly have been the author's intention, but actually *does* slot in perfectly well with the facts as we have them.

I actually think those are my favorite category of theories, so this is pretty cool.

That does sound interesting and I'm not even that fond of Draco in the first place. Do you have recs for fics that go along this theory?

Sadly, I don't! I only encountered the theory after I left the fandom, and I never really read fic in that fandom for whatever reason.
