French Bread

I have a loaf of french bread I need to do something with. Does anyone know a slow cooker recipe for the bread (bread pudding, french toast, etc) or for something to put ONTO the bread for a sandwich. As easy as possible.

Butter and jam for breakfast.

Ham, mustard, and cheese for lunch.

Garlic bread or Bruschetta is easy if your looking for something warm and crispy. Just toss the ingredients on the sliced bread, toss it in the oven for a few minutes and boom.

Garlic butter, slices of mozzarella or provolone, then under the broiler until the cheese melts. Sliced tomatoes and basil on top.
