So I'm in an HP fan community where people are talking about the Cursed Child. And there's one person who doesn't just hates it, but is taking the badness of it very personally saying it's "shitting on the fans like them"

And that's fine just for talking about their reaction. But then there going around to people who don't mind it and offer explanations for problems mentioned and insisting they need realize they're being "shat upon" too.

I cannot stand 'fans' like this. People who decide something about the canon that upsets them is personally wronging them and a personal insult to them. Just ....it's not about you. Yes you feel insulted by it. But going around declaring that you and every other fan is being "shat upon" and has to feel wronged with you is tacky and self absorbed.

You can feel persecuted all you like, but don't insist that everyone else feel that way too.

HP fandom in general is being batshit crazy about this play. It's embarrassing to watch and makes me glad I'm not active in the fandom anymore.
