Haven't seen this, but I figure a lot of people probably didn't watch Trophy Wife for the same reason. Which is too bad, because that was a good little show.

Yeah, I understand if the name threw you. I only started watching because it was pretty much the only show almost all of the TV critics loved from Fall '15. They try to do the Cougar Town-esque thing of decrying the show's name in the OP ("That's a sexist term!") but if people aren't watching the show to see how the show does/doesn't subvert the label....

Anyway, the show is great and more people should watch. The CW shows are headed to Netflix, so hopefully people will binge the first season and boost the ratings for the second!

I watched it on Netflix, and recently got my friend hooked on it, so hopefully being on Netflix will boost the ratings next season.

I agree that the name put me off. I'm way behind on TV so I haven't watched this or much else, but if the show is good I'll try to keep it in mind for the future.

I ended up dropping the show. The characters were just too unlikable.

Makes sense to me. I'm not watching How do get away with murder for the same reason.
