How about the entire town of Sunnydale?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-02 12:52 am (UTC)(link)I get that perhaps she felt liberated from the bad things that Sunnydale represented to her, but it seemed odd to shrug it off that easily. And, as you say - Willow and Xander.
Mind you, I always found it odd that Buffy's friends thought Buffy was inappropriately depressed when she came back. Leaving the heaven/hell stuff, she had plenty of reason - for Buffy (subjectively speaking) it had been a matter of days since Joyce died. Who wouldn't be depressed at coming back to the permanent absence of the only parent who cared about her? Talk about failing to represent the emotional effects of loss...
