Yeah, he is ugly and kinda creepy. And it's not just his age. I've seen some of his earlier work and I found him just as unappealing then.

Huh. This is so not my perception of Capaldi. I mean, he can *play* creepy, but that's a role. And yes, he can be repellent when he puts his mind to it.

Who do you consider attractive by comparison?

I don't mean any slight against him as an actor and I know it's entirely subjective, but since we're only talking physical appearance I have to say he just gives me creeper vibes whenever I see him. And I'm honestly surprised the fandom doesn't want to jump his bones. Usually older, rather unfortunate looking men and younger, pretty women are all the rage.

Who would I consider attractive? That's a good question. I'm really picky in general and most of the allegedly hottest men ever do nothing for me, because so many of them have butter faces and a pretty face is the most important thing for me, when I consider beauty. And I don't know that many actors either. But I'd say I find Lee Pace beautiful, Gael Garcia Bernal especially in younger years was gorgeous and is still a looker. I also think Matthew Goode is really pretty to look at, although he gives me some strong douchebag vibes - no idea why.

I also usually distinguish between attractiveness and beauty. I can think someone is attractive without finding them beautiful and vice versa, but attraction only works for me in combination with personality and face to face interaction. Capaldi is neither for me, though. :) Although he's definitely better looking than that Redmayne guy, who is someone I really don't want to look at...
