.....ahahahahahahaahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, 'cuz the tripe that DC and Marvel puts out is so much better-all the delays, the yearly crossovers that cost dozens to get the whole story for, the multiple 'deaths' that everyone suffers and have become pointless, the major lack of anything to read that isn't superheroes, the lack of any real change to characters and situations, and the fact that maybe if they didn't have such shit like that and more the industry still wouldn't be shrinking in profits and that it's increasingly hard to find comics to even buy in general. I haven't bought anything they made in a long time.

Too bad my engaging, free, original, far-more-entertaining webcomics I enjoy aren't worth the published stuff you're so insistent is better.

I was going to post pretty much exactly what you just did. Thank you.

Thank. YOU.

Not to mention the best comics (ex: Crossgen, anyone?) out there are from companies that shut down/got bought from the bigger, more over-hyped companies. The industry these days make me weep. No wonder Japan is kicking its arse.

Off topic, but...

That's a sexy icon you've got there.

To be fair, there are some good graphic novels out there to buy. I have a Copy of Maus.

But word. A webcomic artist has so much more freedom to create, that almost everyone's going to find a webcomic they like. (Although I'll concede that there's a lot of crap out there - see Dominic Deegan if you want your eyeballs to start bleeding.)

And it hasn't apparently occurred to Dozy McOP that some webcomic artists and writers have other work that's been published, or that some webcomics also appear in the newspaper (like PBF used to in the Guardian).
