05. Um. What? Honestly, that movie was the truest to the book I've ever seen any movie. Newsflash: different media means different choices made. But it kept just about everything in, really. And most things that had to be omitted were referenced to. Really, now.

28. It's hard (read:impossible) not to love Spike.

33. Jesus made you realize that, or did some of his more psychotic followers?

41. Awwww... that would only be the bestest thing ever.

44. What. The ****. Is wrong with you. You digusting. Troll.

Seriously, not only is this just made to be wanky, but it's dead ignorant too. Guess what, most good webcomics? You can buy them. Even "Order of the Stick" which I'm sure you're referring to. It comes out in TP form with extras and everything. Published. Yes, right there (because it wouldn't've gone on half so long as it did with stick figures if the writing itself wasn't actually good).
Digger. Digger's a webcomic. Digger has won a friggen Eisner Award.
As to why you can't always just walk into a store and buy a copy. Publishing is hard. It's not just about how good you are (if it was, maybe some crap wouldn't exist). It's about luck, timing, networking, and half a dozen other things. Some people just want to tell a friggen story without having to deal with the technical details as well, and I'm thankful for them sharing it with me.

Douche.

Well, technically it was the Bible, which has him as a pretty frequent character at the end there.

I very strongly believe that a person's fandom (Christians, in this case) shouldn't influence the way you feel about a person, although I'm sure a lot of the bitterness I have stems from my experiences with them.

Westley/Buttercup just isn't the same without the line "Woman, you are the property of the Dread Pirate Roberts, and you will do as you are told."

The book came off to me as satirical. The movie's just goofy.
