Could be worse. According to our mother, between my two sisters and I we have a Daisy, a Rose and a Hyacinth. Apparently I'm the Hyacinth, minus most of the social aspirations but with the personality, pushiness, obliviousness and being prone to fussing over ridiculously tiny things very much intact.

If it makes you feel better, I always rooted for Hyacinth. That is a woman who may not have gotten shit done, but she tried as hard as she could to get what she wanted. We should all have such drive to follow our dreams.

The problem wasn't so much that she wanted to follow her dream, but that she stepped over a lot of people to do so.

They must always be accompanied by a light finger buffet.
