What's your favorite time to write?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-04 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Doing a poll. For me, early-mid morning, though the times I actually *do* write then are few and far between, and late night, although these days I tend to go to bed too early for late-night writing sessions to work for me.

Nighttime. I do my best writing in the evening or late night.

Usually the evenings/late night, but I was my most prolific in the middle of the day at "hurry up and wait" type job where you were there to sit around for shit to get real (i.e. nothing to do 90% of the time so the boss didn't mind if we read/fucked around on the internet/etc but HOLY FUCK ALL THE SHIT TO DO IN THE WORLD 10% of the time).

Not at night. Something about it being dark out keeps me from being able to write, for some reason.

On my lunch break at work. There's nothing nearby so I'm just gonna be sitting there anyway, why not write?

Late morning, or early afternoon. Used to do more late night writing, but these days, I just can't do it. I keel over and blather total nonsense.

I'm usually most productive anywhere between 10 pm to roughly 5 pm.

Early morning. I mean get-up-at-5am-to-write early morning.

I've always been an early bird, and my brain seems to start shutting down promptly at 4pm every day. So I just go to bed early (around 8-9pm) and get up early to get a good writing chunk in before the rest of the world wakes up (and I have to do adult-type things).
