As a woman, I don't see it as mocking women. It's like they thought that that kind of exaggeratedly feminine, high fashion womanhood was so cool that they wanted to share it. It almost feels like an homage to femaleness to me personally.

That's how I feel about it, honestly. I mean, I'm mentally and physically female, but a lot of drag queens look better in high fashion looks than I ever will! I can't help but admire the work they put into looking like women. As for the campiness? I've always seen it as more of a loving send-up.

Besides, I like seeing men in fancy clothes. I think I was born in the wrong century.
