Closest thing I can think of is a terrible 80s movie called Class, featuring a young and bizarre Rob Lowe. Rob Lowe's roommate at boarding school falls for an older lady.....who turns out to be Rob Lowe's mom. This is treated with all the delicacy and realism of a good 80s zany romance.
