I wish I had a pet. I can't have one where I live, though Mum has once again said she might see if she can push the issue because she's having hell with insect bites in the backyard. I have to hope that if we ended up moving, we'd move to a fully Department-owned place and would be able to have a pet.

I want a cat, I know Mum would favour a small dog slightly more, I don't know how well we'd handle having two.

I guess I can just dream my current lotto ticket wins division 1 ($20 million), then the issue would simply be finding a place that is single storey (no stairs would be better, what with Mum's age).
