I have given up my rightful seat on public transportation just to block queue-jumpers with my body from stealing one from someone else.

There was one middle-aged lady who, after blithely ignoring the OBVIOUS LINE for the bus and just walking straight to the door when it arrived, shoved and elbowed me in the back when I stepped to the side to keep her from getting on until everyone else was past us. I had been at the front of the line, too.

Jokes on you, you're only fueling my spite.
