Is it a front porch light? How is it so bright it gets into your window? (Do you just have cheek-to-jowl properties?) I never turn off my front porch light for safety reasons - but I am in an apartment and the light isn't terribly bright, I'm pretty sure it's not super visible to other people who are inside.

It is a back porch light that is like...10 yards from my room (which is in the back of the house). They never turn it off. I asked them if they could start turning if off after like...10pm on weekdays. They did...for two days. :(

Maybe also ask them about using a dimmer bulb or putting some kind of shutter over it?
