What love triangle do you think would've best been solved with a threesome or poly relationship?

I know the big ones are Hunger Games and Harry Potter, but what are some lesser known triangles that need fixing?

My examples are Ashley/Melly/Scarlett and Ted/Barney/Robin!

For canon ones, the three people from This Means War. I don't remember the character names. They had two alternate endings where Witherspoon's character chooses Tom Hardy and one where the boys choose each other. WHY NOT ALL THREE? https://vimeo.com/41737471

I would not have minded Buffy/Angel/Spike being an OT3. I think canonically they've all slept with each other.

Buffy/Angel/Spike could totally work. They are my main Buffy ship.

John/Delenn/Jeffrey from Babylon 5 is interesting I think. Not a canon triangle, but still I like the OT3.

House/Wilson/Cuddy. Might be my favorite House ship, I love House/Wilson on its own but I also love Cuddy and her dynamic with House (before it was ruined in later seasons) and Wilson (a relationship that was woefully underutilized).

I have strong nope feelings about Gale on account of the ending. Maybe prior to that, but that ending? Nope.


However, I am all aboard the Tony/Pepper/Rhodey and Tony/Pepper/Natasha train. Even Tony/Pepper/Steve. I'm not picky, if Tony/Pepper are in it the third will work out.

*except Banner, I don't really like Banner? I don't know why either...

Yeah, me too. My hindbrain wants Elizabeth/Jack/Norrington, because I don't find Will attractive at all, but looking at the characters, Elizabeth/Will/Jack makes more sense.

It's not canon, but I'd much rather see Emma/Regina/Neal than Emma/Hook/Neal, which would be even creepier than Emma/Hook already is. Another OUAT OT3 was so fucking close to being canon and I know the writers would never go there but it was perfect--Aurora/Mulan/Philip. I have a soft spot for Nite Owl II/Silk Specter II/Rorschach, but it's more of a crack OT3. And it has to be taken way AU for it to work and not be insanely dark and disturbing, but Erik/Christine/Raoul can be fun.
