da. Pretty sure that's still passive-aggressive. Regular straight-up honest/confrontational would have been to reply to them to say you had an issue with their phrasing.

Ok first of all, I replied directly and I thought it was tongue-in-cheek but pretty clear what I was getting at - I thought anon was being passive-aggressive and pointing it out. I think you'd have to be deliberately obtuse, to be honest, to not get that that's what I was going for, and I phrased it the way I did like I said to be tongue-in-cheek by copying anon's phrasing.

Secondly, honest question: what's your definition of passive-aggression?
