I'm cis and it seems kind of cute based on the few comics that are currently on her front page. Though it is a bit too girly.

As for what gender OP is, I don't get it. Anybody can critique anything regardless of what gender they are. But obviously if you're not MTF the comic won't have as much personal meaning so you're more likely to notice its flaws.
