28. Gah, I hate that weeaboo crap. I took 3 years of Japanese, I go to conventions and cosplay, I watch anime and read manga and yeah, I listen to some Jpop/rock/anime music. But for the love of all that's holy, I'm not obsessed with Japanese culture. Hell I like the anime and manga more than the culture. I /do/ enjoy other things as well :/

41. I'm a straight female and I'd rather roleplay males too. It's much more fun if you ask me because it's stepping outside of what you are used to as a person.

Why? I studied French because I was in Paris and had nothing better to do, Italian because I wanted to read a certain comic series, German because everyone else was taking a third language at the time, and Latin because I wanted to be able to translate random Latin phrases here and there in the things I read. And I started Icelandic hoping I would be able to read Edda one day, but got frustrated and stopped at the very basics. Yet taking Japanese because of anime makes me a stupid weeaboo? What's a valid reason to learn anything but English (because English is the only one besides my mother tongue I daily use), then?
