"not romantically"

it's possible to love people platonically, and admire them platonically, anon

NAYRT

true, but it's possibly to love someone romantically and not quite recognize that for what it is. romcoms thrive on this reality

not agreeing with above anon that that's what's going on here, but

that is true

FFS of course it's possible. I just don't think it's the case here.

Can I ask why? Anon specifically said "not romantically". I'm not really comfortable getting in their head and trying to interpret their feelings for them rather than respecting what they've said. Was there something in particular that made you think it's romantic in this case?

OMFG

I take it back. There is clearly no evidence that OP has a crush. In fact, all evidence points to the contrary. I am so sorry I suspected OP of having a crush.

Ain't Diet Poison's, either, and I don't appreciate her friendly lecture on what was meant as a light-hearted remark.

Hi, I'm right here. And I think you kinda need to take a chill pill tbh.

I'm confused. That's what I meant by "not romantically."

SA - Shit, I'm sorry, for some reason it looked like you were replying right to me, not the other anon.

Re: Non-fandom confessions

totally different anon here, but FWIW I think the reason some people have suggested there might be something romantic here despite you specifying that it *isn't* romantic is that most people who really like someone else platonically don't stress out about that liking possibly being taken as romantic.

Yes. That is what I was trying (and obviously failing) to say above.

Me too. That's why I quoted you. Sorry I wasn't clear
