Late to reply, but I liked Max/Logan in Season 1, and very very quickly grew to DESPISE it in Season 2. Part of it may have been that the character of Logan changed, and veered into what felt like OOC-ness (supposedly, due to behind the scenes drama with the actor), and the other part of it is that I cannot abide ridiculous plot devices of "I want to be with this person but I can't because [plot device]." Every time I hear the "we can't be together" I end up screaming at the TV "then DON'T!" It drives me nuts. If you can't be together, then stop.

And just when I was exiting the Max/Logan ship, the Max/Alec train was pulling into the station, so there was that too...
