I don't believe in an afterlife but I hope I'm wrong and there's a special hell for people who abuse and neglect animals.

Do you know what happened to the dog, by any chance? If the answer will make me cry, it's totally cool to lie.

Animal control has it and are going to try and rehabilitate her. I took pictures of the dog. I might start some drama on FB on our local community watch page about them.

I've seen posts like that go both ways but even when they backfire I think they still do some good.

I am glad to hear the dog's being taken care of by animal control, though. Nice to have something of a happy ending to such a heartbreaking story.
