Most of us who care about this and are for being true to the book are sick of hearing that Shadow Can't Possibly Be Black especially when it's established that he is in fact part black.

But the fact that he is part black should not be erased. Erasing that he's part black and making him black erases a whole different set of identity factors that have a lot to do with his character in the book, never quite fitting in any one group or another which is true to a lot of mixed race people's experiences.

All I get from this is "the racists annoy me so let's erase the mixed part because mixed race representation is not worth arguing for" which doesn't make you sound like the justified one here.
