We've had tarantulas and ball pythons. Pretty, and interesting in a way, but ultimately boring pets.

Have had cats all my life, currently have three, and a dog, as well. I'd love to have budgies again some day, but i don't currently have the space.

I have not used the bathroom alone in...decades. When it wasn't my kid it was one (or all) of the cats. Whoo!
