A Gripe

Please don't tag your fic with A/B (and no other ship tags), and have it be a flirting/getting together type thing, and then have Character B start fucking Character C halfway through the fic. I don't care if A and B still end up together at the end. I'm here to read about A and B, not B and C.

Geez dang it, that gets my goat.

Yeah, people don't seem to realize they can tag more than one pairing. Its weird.

Ah, the good old "Bait and Switch"

That gets my goat, my nanny, and my kid.

Right now, I'm a little annoyed with people tagging "A/B" and then it's not really "A/B" in a shippy sense but just a platonic friendship sense, which is what the "A+B" tag (or is it the "A&B" tag?) should be used for. I'll admit I've discovered a few great friendshippy gen fics that way, but it was still a little disappointing to read all the way through and not to get the "A/B" that I was in that tag for. Not all fics are good enough to make it worth the lack of OTP pay off, though.
