the mod squad said they had decided they would cut down membership to 1000 people (in all of the comms or just one idk i scrolled on by) and there was an application or sorts that you had to fill in if you wanted to stay in the community. comments would be screened.

i bet a lot of people fell fo it, so it was probably a success but i don't get how people won't have seen through it, given the date and all.

It relates because there was a final section at the end that linked to this post where people essentially fangirled over Jensen and the "application" told people to go there and add their comment.

I personally thought the prank was just harmless fun, though. It was more creative than rickrolls everywhere, at least.
