DA. That's how I was reading it too. The responses in the this thread are just... kind of over the top, given that it's just someone identifying with a character and wishing that more people read them the same way they do.

Maybe if OP hadn't opened by preemptively calling everyone who disagreed an asshole and ended the secret with a drive-by putdown of feminine women, I'd be more sympathetic. As it is... no.

Well the wording at the end also implies that seeing a woman as gay is the same as seeing her as less of a woman and makes it look as though OP feels insulted by proxy by people thinking Holtz is gay.

Yeah I'm no less of a woman for not being always classically feminine. But a lesbian isn't less of a woman either for being a lesbian? no matter how masculine or feminine she is? so that just seemed like a weird point to make

I don't think OP really thinks that way but it's definitely not helping anything to be mixing up the "masculine women aren't less of a woman than others" argument with the "masculine women aren't automatically gay" one.
