Doggedly insisting that the stakes of representation are as high for straight women as they are for gay women. It's simply not true and it's naive and petty at best.

Didn't mean to imply that. But I can understand why, even if the stakes are lower for straight women, it can still be frustrating and shitty.

Frustrating, yes. Shitty, not so much.

It's kind of like fat-shaming vs skinny-shaming. Both of them are wrong and harmful, but only one is constantly loudly repeated by media imagery and public mindset. It's not at the same level at all.
