Just because someone is in their underwear, that doesn't mean they are sexualized. Was there a reason for her to be in her underwear? Yes - both because she was getting ready for getting in the sleep pod and to make her seem more vulnerable. It didn't seem all that sexualized to me in Alien, though I did think her panties were really skimpy, but some people like that style. It didn't seem sexualized at to me in Aliens.

This. That outfit doesn't read as sexy or sexualized at all to me because that's pretty much the same thing that I wear to bed. It CAN be sexualized, but that doesn't mean it is sexual by default.
