Definitely does not appeal to me. I recognize the double-standards between animals we perceive as pets and animals we perceive as food especially since pigs, for example, are pretty smart, but the association is still there very strongly...I'd sooner give up all other meat than eat meat from a cat or dog.

I realize that this is totally a culture-based thing, but eating cats would be a big NOPE for me. (I've been a vegetarian and though it did nasty things to my bipolar which made it unsustainable, when I'm on my own I tend to eat meat only once or twice a week.)

Out of curiosity, what about lack of meat affects bipolar? I hadn't heard this before. (it'd ok if you don't want to answer)
