I had a post on my tumblr dashboard complaining about people (artists in particular) doing the whole "reblogs>likes" and "why does nobody like my art but that ugly one has sooo many notes!" routine a lot. I disagreed with a few of their points, but in general, I agree with the sentiment.

But it reminded me of a thing that annoys me a bit:

I personally don't care all that much about the notes I get for my art. What annoys me, though, are mutuals (especially if it's people I know irl) who post those "support us by reblogging, not just liking" things all the time. And I'm a nice person and actually do it when it's original art or relevant to a fandom I like. But they have yet to reblog any of my own artworks and quite honestly, I'm a little bitter about them being such hypocrites.
