Re: Not being christian in the south

I have a friend who attends church regularly with her grandparents in Sumter, SC. Then she moved to Anderson, SC and just stopped going to church there because she never found one she liked.

Your mom may find joining a church is a good way to meet people. I don't know where she'll be in South Carolina, but the bigger cities are pretty diverse but when you're further out, it's just a thing to do.

I was in Columbia, SC and in four years, I think only one random person ever asked which church I was a part of and it was only to find out if I'd be at some of their other social events for college students.
