Favorite cookie?

Do you have any favorite cookies? Do you make them yourself or buy them or both?

I love Sogo Bakery's panda cookies, and their walnut butter cookies are divine too, they both go so well with boba teas. There's also a cookie that's like a fig Newton but with a pineapple filling, I wish I could remember the name of those, I think they're Chinese? They go best with hot black tea and are lovely.

Chocolate chip cookies. Homemade that are a little underdone so they stay soft.

I like Samoas/Caramel DeLites/Coconut Dreams/whatever those cookies are called.

I also like any kind of soft cookie, or a cookie that's not cooked all the way so it's still gooey.

I love chewy chocolate chip cookies that are a bit underdone. I tend to make them myself because the store ones don't have the right chewy/underdone texture.

I have several. Soft ginger cookies, sweet potato cookies with peanut butter icing (yes, they are actually delicious), a local bakery's buttermilk cookie, snickeroodles, oatmeal raisin. Some of those I make, some I buy.

Trader Joes used to sell double chocolate chunk cherry cookies. When they stopped, I started making my own, with more dried cherries, more chocolate chunks, and cocoa powder in the dough, and left them kind of underdone so they stayed fudgy. Unfortunately the finished cookies looked like little piles of crap, so I dubbed them cat crap cookies. It keeps people from poaching them so there's more for me.

Anzac biscuits are always good. Also white chocolate and macadamia cookies. I've been making cookies at home for so long that now the bought ones taste weird and processed. Even Tim Tams :-(

chocolate chip cookies and spice cookies. I used to make them myself (can't do it now because I'm on a diet).
