Still a show about douchey white dudes.

Yes but the entire point is that they were douchey and the villains, which goes intentionally, directly against "the rich white guy narrative" where the rich white guy main character is the evilest on the show and portrayed that way as evil and pathetic.

If you are going to insist Breaking Bad glorifies rich white guys, there's no arguing anything further with you since that's so blatantly wrong.

I'll be frank with you, I have not actually watched the show and had made some assumptions about its content based on what I've seen of the fandom. If what you say is true, you've peaked my interest.

Walter White is so very clearly the monster / villain in the show. The whole story is about his descent into selfishness and power hunger - one of the pivotal moments in the show is when he stops lying to himself and admits he did it all for himself. He's evil and sociopathic and drives away everybody in his life - and he IS portrayed as pathetic, you may have seen the images of him standing around with his chicken legs in the tighty-whiteys. It was not meant to show him as cool.

Almost everyone else in the show is evil in their own ways, and you see a lot of Walter's perspective because he's the POV character, but you are not supposed to like him. At all.
