I'm disabled and frankly I don't get why this is even an issue. It's a personal decision, especially when it comes to illness, and to say that disabled people shouldn't be shown making a decision comes off to me with a tone of doubting their right to have individual thought. It comes off as wanting to control them and remove their agency, and that's something with a FAR more disgusting history.

I mean don't get me wrong, society needs to figure out why it views suicide as noble at all, but that goes beyond disability.

Yeah I feel like this weird divide between when suicide is seen as noble and when it's seen as selfish, and really, it should just be seen as an option/decision/personal choice, and nothing more/less. Like every other decision, it's personal and could be viewed as right or wrong by outside people.
