(Anonymous) 2016-08-20 12:36 am (UTC)(link)there are a ton of articles about it but here are a couple that I've read
http://www.pandys.org/articles/rapefantasies.html (tl;dr: like any kind of strong sexual fixation, rape fantasies held by rape victims can be harmful or helpful and it just depends on whether or not the impact of the fantasies have been positive or negative on the person's life. some people find the fantasies to be extremely disruptive/upsetting while others found that it brings them a sense of control)
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/women-who-stray/201012/the-rape-fantasy (tl;dr: although some professionals more or less treat rape fantasies held by rape victims as symptoms of a mental illness that should be treated, doing such a thing often alienates the people who have them and makes them feel worse)
