I agree, because I never got on board in the first place and would have loved to. Was the fandom negative to incest fics though? I'd have thought that would be the main ship. (And why I'm sad I missed it.)

my memory is pretty fuzzy, but iirc the main slash pairing (or one of them, at least) was between tbag and the younger brother (michael, maybe? I can't remember his name) which kind of surprised me. I might be misremembering its popularity though

The main slah ships were the brothers and (maybe to a lesser extent) Michael/Mahone. Michael/Sucre and T-Bag/Abruzzi had their followings too.
And honestly I wrote a fair amount of Michael/Lincoln stuff and never had to deal with any negativity, but I can't speak for sure for the other authors.
