This doesn't personally involve me, but when my older brother was living in an apartment my parents owned, and owed them money he got drunk and had the "great" idea of selling furniture, and appliances out of the apartment to pay them back. Furniture, and appliances also owned by my parents.

Luckily his roommate at the time ended up having to call Mom, who went over and explained to his drunk ass why his clever plan was pointless.

That's hilarious and terrible. It sounds like he didn't actually sell the stuff though??? I hope he didn't.

Fortunately his roommate was able to keep him from selling anything until Mom got there to give him a reality check, so all the stuff was safe.
