+1000 on the basis of the one DCEU fanboy I'm Facebook friends with. I've thought he was pretentious long before the DCEU even existed, but now that is in existence, he's somehow even more insufferable.

I'm friends with a few DCEU people and for the most part they're pretty chill. But every once in a while they'll reblog a post defending the DCEU and my god, the holier-than-thou attitude. And how WB/DC TOTALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING.

To borrow from a a great quote about Brian DePalma, the DCEU doesn't have fans. It has apologists.
