Not the secret OP, but they were talking about a different secret. There was the term "pillowbiter" used in it and apparently this pissed people off. *Shrug*, as a bisexual guy I've just seen the term used as a sort of silly jab between more flamboyant gay and bi guys ("you're such a pillowbiting queen", that sort of thing), but yeah, regardless of any feelings for or against that term, it's not your secret they're referencing.

For what it's worth I thought your secret was fine. I'm in complete agreement with secret!OP, but if I [i]have[/i] to deal with Generic Yaoi Seme/Uke bullshit I'd at least like things to be tagged so I can find fic I'd like to read at any given time. The issue comes when it's a smaller fandom and they've decided that 250 out of the 261 Explicit fics are all a certain character bottoming, and 7 of those other fics are non-penetration and/or blowjobs, so there's like enough fics to maybe count on one hand where the other character bottoms, and it's all because of rigid seme/uke stuff.

Or even a not-so-small fandom. There are 1500+ Explicit Arthur/Eames fics in Inception fandom, and I think Arthur tops in ~20 of them. And imo the characterizations really suffer in most of those fics in a seme/uke-inspired way.

There is a difference between someone in the community using a derogatory term, and someone outside the community using the same term.
