Abba - Dancing Queen

I can't think of another song (and a worldwide hit!) that's had as much influence both musically (except for Beatles, but I wouldn't call them pop, and they influenced every genre of modern contemporary music, not just pop) and "artistically" (aka how to perform on stage and what's the proper pop music attire).
As far as pop music goes, it's broad in musical elements and tempo.

For some reason Dancing Queen is my LEAST favourite ABBA song. Well, except maybe Fernando. I'm not too fond of it either.

ayrt

I don't particularly care for it either (Voulez Vous and Money, Money, Money are far superior), but from a purely objective perspective it's a perfect pop song due to its structure and influence.

I guess I can agree from an objective perspective. XD

I'm partial to Under Attack, Me and I, Head Over Heels, The Visitors, and Nina Pretty Ballerina myself, but yeah I really only dislike Dancing Queen and Fernando.

I used to be pretty meh on Chiquitita but Mamma Mia warmed me up to it a little bit.
