....getting over a broken heart, to be honest. :( I know it'll just take time, but every day feels like a week and I'm just miserable. I AM getting out there and doing stuff. I'm just still like a half-step from crying at all times

Are you the sort of person who'll feel better after crying?
If so, maybe schedule some time to cry.
(Or indulge in any other form of catharsis you think might help, really.)

I'm sorry, OP! I found it helped a bit to cut myself some slack and accept that I was going to go through a mourning period whether I liked it or not and I shouldn't feel bad about feeling bad for a while, no matter how much "He was a jerk and not worth crying over!" "Everything happens for a reason it's always darkest before the dawn!" and "You are a strong, independent woman who don't need no man!" I was getting. (They meant well, but it's not really a rational problem with rational solutions, you know?)
