TBH I don't think Ned is a transman, in the truest sense of the word. Everything about him in the game, including his bio, makes it sound as though he's a woman who's chosen to live as a man due to the restrictions on what a woman could and couldn't do at the time; she's a transman only so far as "she was born to be a man because she has ambitions beyond what she could achieve as a woman" and not "she feels like a man in the wrong body."

I like Jacob/Ned too! In the actual game they don't have a lot of interaction, but it's pretty fantastic when they do. Jacob flirts with EVERYONE though, he's incorrigible.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a video game, but there are a lot of cinematic scenes interspersed to help develop characters and plot.
