you really described that dream beautifully.

I have the same problem and try to not blame others for it. I got so much out of practice that I'm missing chances to express myself, and express myself well. It's cool that you managed that with this post, for example.

The difficult fact is that you need to surround yourself with people who take more interest in you and you need to take more room up in the conversation. Listening is a rare quality, once people know you listen well even people who are usually more balanced will sponge on the attention.
