Draw those boundaries, anon. Do it before the resentment sours your friendship permanently. Tell your friend pretty much what you've said here: you love her, but you can only take so much of her complaints about other people because it brings you down and it seems like you're both stuck in this endless cycle of the same complaints every time. If you can take ten minutes of it, allow her that and then tell her you need to talk about something else. Change the subject and stick to it.
